Vario Water Filter

The Vario combines individual efficiency with the simplest possible handling. The technology it uses consists of three filter levels: a high-performance glass fibre filter, a ceramic pre-filter that can be adjusted individually according to the cloudiness of the water, and an active charcoal for eliminating odors. Anyone who needs up to two litres of drinking water per minute can use the glass fibre and active charcoal filter. If the water is extremely cloudy, the ceramic pre-filter can be fitted in a moment in order to extend the service life of the glass fibre filter. 4th Annual North Routt Coureur des Bois
Another fantastic Coureur des Bois was held this past March 15th. Great snow, great skiing, and a great day were highlights. 90k and 45k Nordic racers put themselves through the ultimate test. This is a great event and if you are on the fence about entering next year. Just do it! This is a great race with great aid stations, volunteers, and terrain.See you next year! Ski Haus 15k or 8k Classic Race.
Ski Haus hosted our inaugural Nordic Race this past January 26th. Sixty-six skiers showed up to test their classic endurance, classic Nordic skills, and classic preparation (kick wax and glide wax) against the clock. Everyone had a great time and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. Mild to cold temperatures, beautiful sunshine, and impeccable track conditions thanks to the Lake Catamount Touring Center groomers. Click here for the race results.

Why should I take care of my skis?
Skiing or riding on perfectly tuned skis or snowboards is a pleasure. Your skis feel and turn smoother. They initiate turns easier and come out of turns with the ease of a hot knife carving through butter... That is the good news. The bad news is how easily it is to let your winter tools fall out of tune. Base gouges, dry bases, burred edges... Yikes!
